Signs of spring:  The snow is gone, the robins are back, the umpire hollers “Play Ball” and the return of the very popular Kitchener Knights of Columbus Annual Great Big Spring Clean-up.  Set to go on Saturday May 6th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, bring your discarded and unwanted to the St. Anthony Daniel parking lot at Ottawa and Franklin.  We will be collecting all your old electronics, outdated television, computers, laptops and cellphones.  Bring your scrap metal, including copper, stainless steel and brass.  The Kitchener and area Girl Guides will be on hand selling their renowned cookies.  As well, pick up a bottle of the delicious Knights of Columbus locally produced maple syrup.  Aid the Knights by helping to raise the necessary funds for local charities.
